Changing Field Delimers in SQLPLUS?

Using SQLPlus



I would like to:


    
  
  1.   seperate fields by something other than space.
  
  2.   trim trailing blanks from fields.
  
  3.   trim trailing blanks from records.






Any ideas, suggestions will be appreciated.
