,hi,
i'm lookin for end-user tools to implement a client serrver architecture with oracle7 as the database server. i connected excel 5 via odbc and i'm currently installing forms4.0. what i'm looking for are tools that are really easyfor the end user, so that he can implement his applications and queries. the should e.g. reconize oracle7 integrity constraints (the user should see them on the screen) and should allow to give the tables meaningful extra names. the tools should run with mswindows and be kind of object orientated (so that you can use code again or without knowing how it works). it should also run on a normal pc, means 486-33 and not more that 8 mb memory. is visual basic or powerbuilder an alternative?
bye
dirk
