Hello all,

I don't know if this is the correct group to post my question, but I'm wondering if someone in this group has some suggestions.

I would like to know, if a process to process communication between a user process (own programm that offers such communication possibilites) and ORACLE processes like SQLPLUS, FORMS 3 et 4, ... is possible.

If it is possible, and I think it is (I have heard some rumours about it), how does it work (on ORACLE side) and are there some books where authors are talking about process to process communication. (also in a general way)?

We don't have ORACLE for the moment, but for a future project, we ar looking for an RDBMS that will support such a process to process cummunication in an easy way.

Any information is welkom

Thank you,

Marc
