Hi,

I would appreciate if any one can suggest me solution for
the problems faced in ORACLE 7 Installation on MIPS EP/IX.

MIPS installation manual recommends to form a Oracle Base
Structure for installation but i couldn't do the same because
	of disk space.

We have nearly 40mb on root filesystem and we have made a
symbolic link to another filesystem /usr1/tmp as its
recommended to have 250mb disk space on /tmp.

Now, the problem is after loading all the core software into
disk and while installing the software the system gives an error
message saying "/: write failed, file system full" and we have
	to interrupt the installation.

I fail to understand why this happens. As iam not a regular
reader of news mail your suggestions to tramesh_at_ittb.ernet.in.
	Thanks in anticipation.

	T.Ramesh.
