Hi,
I think you are up the proverbial creek. As far as I can tell, the only way
you are going to get your database back up is dependent on whether you have
a backup of your database, and whether you had archiving turned on or not:
- If you have a backup of the lost datafile, and you had ARCHIVELOG on, then restore the datafile and perform a recovery. I think if you try to just restore the datafile without recovery (ie you were in NOARCHIVELOG mode), when you open the database you'll get an error saying something about the file failing verification check.
- If you were not archiving, restore the whole database from a backup, which of course takes everything back to the time the backup was made.
