HELP: Forms V4 for MS/Windows gives GPE error

I just installed Forms V4.0 in our PC client station. Prior to that, I installed the latest version of SQL*Net V1.x (not V2.0). Following the instructions in the SQL*Net manual, I tested SQL*Net and it worked fine. BTW, SQL*net is "connected" to a SPARC Unix machine server.

Anyway, after I installed Forms, I ran it and tried to connect to the server. After entering my userid, password and database name, Windows gives me a system error:

"F40DES causes General Protection Error in module WLIBSOCK at 000A:0C04..."

Does anyone know what is the cause of this error? Can anyone successfully using Forms V4.0 tell me about the hardware configuration of their PC workstation (ie. amount of RAM, CPU type, etc.)
