The user who creates an object obviously has the ability to grant priveleges on that object to other users. And I am pretty sure that in Version 6, the SYS user also was able to grant priveleges on objects, whether they were owned by SYS or not. This does not seem to be the case in Version 7. What happened?
Oracle Tech Support took a week and a half to call me back just to say read chaper 18 of the Concepts manual. Anyone seen this?
