We would like to convert our user_exits from C to C++, but unfortunately funding says no. So we are toying with several options, one of which is to convert them as we make changes. We've tried small sample C++ user_ exits combined with C user_exits, and so far it works fine, but I would appreciate any pro's, con's, or warning's on the subject.
