Please point me to an Oracle FAQ if one exists for an answer to this question.

What platforms will an Oracle database run on? Specifically, can the following Operating Systems serve as an Oracle database server:

  1. Windows NT on Intel
  2. Netware 3.1X
  3. Netware 4.X
  4. Windows 3.1

Also what Oracle software do we need to purchase to access an Oracle database server over an ethernet network (we have Wollongong Pathway Access for DOS TCP/IP stack and their WINSOCK.DLL) from MS Windows? (We need to use TCP/IP as the network transport.)

Thanks
