Hi !
I have difficulty getting Pro-C to work properly in Microsoft Windows. Typing "sqlpme" in a DOS window gives
The ORACLE 286/386 Protected Mode Executive: Version 2.2.14 - Production Copyright (c) 1986, 1992, Oracle Corporation, California, USA. All Rights Reserved.
Fatal error: VCPI is not installed.
The local Oracle support guy tells me that I need to pre-compile in DOS and then later go into Windows. So that I can use my Microsoft C compiler ( ie version 7.0 and Visual C++ ).
This sounds ridiculous!
Can some kind soul please advise? ie How can I get the VCPI services?
Thanks.
