Hello,
We are running Release 7.0.15.4.0 on Solaris 2.3. I just installed freshly
with a new database TEST. I found it very handy to let the installer create
a second database BERLI for me. I'm still experimenting...
I found very little documentation on having multiple instance/database combinations running on the same machine. Are there drawbacks?
Is there an advantage in including as many tables as possible in one database, even if there is no logical connection between them?
Would you also use the installer for creating new (additional) databases, and thus having useful defaults (at least I hope so), if you're not an experianced administrator yet?
Thanks for any info.
