Hi All !!
Could someone please tell me what I woul require to link my VB app with an Oracle Database Set up on a Dell 486 Unix Box using Dell Unix. THe PC's are linked to the UNIX box over an Ethernet Network running Novell Netware 3.26 and Wolagon's Pathway (using ODI drivers to allow both at the same time), What I'd Like to know is what I need other than the Oracle ODBC driver on the Windows PC and Oracle itself on the UNIX box. Do I need SQL Net(??) and if so how does this work. As You can see I new to the wonderful world of UNIX and Networks however please don't be afraid to get technical !!!!
