SQL*Net DECNet for DOS Protected Mode

Hi,
I am trying to use Oracle Forms 4 with SQL*Net DECNet for DOS v1.2.10.6.
It seems that I need to invoke the protected mode in order to run Oracle
tools that is larger than 640K. But my computer is a Gateway 486 which is
not in the list that SQL*Net DECNet for DOS provides. Also, it only
mentions
286 and 386 machines. If you understand what I am saying, do you have
any idea what is going on?
Is my version of SQL*Net DECNet for DOS out-dated?
