LAST CALL FOR PAPERS -------------------- 1994 ASME Pressure Vessel and Piping Conference June 19-23, 1994, Minneapolis, Minnesota Quality Engineering -- Application and Experience in PVP Industry
The Computer Technology Committee of ASME's Pressure Vessel and Piping (PVP) Division is sponsoring a technical session on "Integration And Management Of Computer Applications In An Engineering Project Environment".
The purpose of the session is to exchange information on the Needs, Issues, and Experiences relating to the session topic. Emphasis will be on quality and productivity gain. Papers are solicited to address any or all of the following issues:
- Diversity and complexity of engineering operation and data.
- Complexity and maturity of software development tools.
- Demands on user friendliness and the consequent benefit/cost of development.
- Emerging technologies for computing architecture, networking, database management, and information and data exchange.
- Converging trends in hardware platforms and operating systems.
Prospective authors are requested to submit title of paper, 100-200 word abstract, and the contact author's complete affiliation, including phone/fax numbers and optionally the Internet address. Abstracts and Draft Papers are due on January 15, 1994. Final acceptance will be based on the review of the drafts. All papers will be reviewed according to ASME procedures.
