G'day,
Wondering if anyone out there has a solution to the following two problems:
- Width definition I am trying to create a report that is 132 characters wide. The total size of all the fields is 110 characters. However, the resulting file (when I go to execute report) is 80 Characters wide...agghhh! I have set the DESTYPE, DESNAME, DESFORMAT to 132 in parameters section, in report I have set the width to 132, in text the defined panels have a width of 132. What am I doing wrong ?
- Ripley's "Believe it or not" keyboard definitions. We are running Oracle on DEC 5000 Ultrix 4.3. boxes. When I telnet to our machines from a PC, and set term to vt100, the arrow keys act as arrow keys should. But on a DEC, set term to vt100, press an arrow key inside reportwriter, and you get a control code. Double aghhhhhh! How do I fix this one ?
As always, thanks for taking the time to consider these problems.
(BTW, I think I must be the only Sydney person that isn't jublient over winning the rights to the 2000 Olympics...watching house prices go up 'cos some people wanna play sport is not my idea of fun...)
