Oracle version 7.0.12 installation problems

When I am installing 7.0.12 from CDROM onto a sparcstation running 4.1.1, and trying to do a full install, I get the following message

srw.vrf(0): FILE_NOT_FOUND while verifying srw

When I dont try to install report writer, and only install a bare minimum I get

orainst.ins(160): FILE_NOT_FOUND while copying orainst

I have noticed that in the oracle/orainst directory there is no orainst program (as the manual said) but it was called orainst.

Is this the cause of my problem ?
