I want to thank all the respondees to my ORACLE*Financials version questions. For those of you who care, the following is a compilation of results:
Release 9.4 10 11 Other 1. V6 & V2.3 Forms 2 1 2. V7 & V2.3 Forms 1 2 1 3. V7 & V4.0 Forms 1 1 1 4. V6/V7 & V3.0 Forms 1 5. V6 or V7 1 1 6. V7 Does Not Work With 2.3 3
So, it seems the combination most mentioned, V7 and V2.3 is not considered by some (including myself) to be possible. At least, the V7 DBA manual only discusses V3 forms installation. Also, ORACLE technical support tell me that V7 cannot support V2.3 forms, and that maintenance and support for V2.3 forms will be dropped in one year. Any comments or clarifications???
