Quintus Prolog accessing an Oracle Database

I would like to know if anybody has any experience accessing an Oracle database from Quintus Prolog and if so, how that has been achieved.

I think it is possible to do it using ProC but I would like to know if it is possible to write ProC programs that have only functions (no main) since I think Quintus Prolog lets you include only functions in the Prolog code (eventhough main is also a function I am not sure of the way to send or receive arguments from QProlog to such function).
