There is indeed an Oracle7 Server for UNIX administrators reference guide. The part number is 7097-70-0193, released in January 93.
I'm also using Oracle and Tuxedo however I haven't gotten into using the XA interface yet. I don't have any distributed transactions so I'm in no rush to move to the XA interface.
