Hello Everyone:
I am running Oracle on a HP-9000 UX - Version 8
I would like to create an SGA with about 22,000 blocks. Yet if my SGA gets larger than 32 Megs, about 14,000 blocks I run out of shared memory segments. The Machine has 64 Megs of memory, all recognized.
Oracle does not know the correct system parameters for the Kernal, like SHMMAX, SHMNI, etc...
Has anyone gotten an SGA this big on this box? If so any tips would be helpful.
