Problems in starting up Oracle

Hi Networld !!



I have a problem in starting up Oracle after moving to another partition.
When I try to start Oracle as user oracle with the dbstart script I get
the folowing messages:



SQL*DBA: Version 6.0.31.0.8 - Production on Thu Mar 18 18:05:30 1993

ORACLE RDBMS V6.0.31.0.8, transaction processing option - Production
PL/SQL V1.0.32.0.1 - Production



ORA-00445: background process 'PMON' didn't start
ORA-07269: spdcr: detached process died after exec.
SQL*DBA complete.



Database "PYRO" warm started.




Where can I find any hints why PMON failed to start up ???
