HP 9000/877 HP/UX 9.0
Oracle 7.0.12.1.0
SQL*net v2.0.12.1.0

Has anyone managed to get the listener up and running under this soet of configuration? We have the same versions running (reasonably) happily on a SparcServer 10, but on the HP the listener appears to come up, but nothing can connect to it (including the status command issued in the startup).

oracle_abhp1: lsnrctl start oralsn

netstat shows that the listener is indeed there....

and the trace file gives a whole series of apparently successful events, followed by:

I have reported this to Oracle technical support, but.... Also, needless to say, they have not yet been forthcoming with the SQL*net trilogy...

My guess is that I am missing something at the Op. Sys. / networking level, but what?
