OK all you Oracle hackers out there. Does anyone know what 'ALTER SESSION SET EVENTS' does?
It is not documented in either of the manuals for Oracle V6 and Oracle7. I
know
that Oracle V6.0.33 recognises the syntax and I saw someone use it in a paper
that was presented at a conference.
The actual statement used was
alter session set events 'immediate trace name controlf level 10' alter session set events 'immediate trace namefile_hdrs level 10'.
Any help on this would be much appreciated. I will post a summary if there
are
enough interest shown.
Tony
