We use SQL*FORMS/Mac and ClearAccess. Forms 3.0 is still a little klunky on the mac, but it works fine for simple applications. ClearAccess is GREAT! I would definately check it out if I were you. It has its own scripting language and they include extensions which are embedded into Excel and other Mac apps that have scripting or macro facilities...and allows you to command ClearAccess from thos apps(I wish they would use AppleEvents... but maybe they will soon). It uses a point and Click interface to generate SQL code, which you can create or edit manually as well. It is pretty cool.
GQL from Andyne Computing is really nice too, but kind of expensive for the first user. Once you have one user, than additional users cost about average. It is a little "friendlier" than ClearAccess and provides WYSIWYG reporting and EIS functionality. For quick, simple ad-hoc reporting needs on the mac...go with ClearAccess. With it you can quickly get Oracle date into virtually any Mac app you want to work with. (Check out Spreadbase)
If these things still aren't good enough, then wait about 6-12 months.
Everyone, including Oracle is getting ready to release an onslought of GUI Oracle Client apps which run on Macs, Windows, Motif, etc...
Good luck
