I recently posted a query about building oraperl on a Sun4.

I rapidly received a helpful reply from tha author of oraperl (Kevin Stock) which I can summarise as:

  1. Upgrade your perl
  2. Build a system V version of perl

I am stuck on (2). All attempts to build a perl using the /usr/5... libraries result in a perl which memory faults very early in the tests. I must have something obvious wrong with my configuration but I can't see what it is.

I would be very grateful if anyone who has opaperl working on a Sun 4 could e-mail me a copy of the config.sh which was used to build the uperl.o which was used to build oraperl.
