Compatibility of Oracle with Solaris 2.1

I am putting together specifications of a SPARCstation LX system which will be running Solaris 2.1. I need to know which version of RDBMS and, Pro*C, and SQL*Plus to get. We get these products through the Scholar Line program here at Georgia Tech. When my associate called our Scholar Line Rep here at Tech, the rep said that the Sun 4-Version 6.0.33 version of this software would work on the new SPARCstation LX system with Solaris 2.1. I had thought that Oracle was writting a new version of these products for Solaris 2.1. So....who is right? Can I use the Sun 4 version or do I need a special Solaris 2.1 version. If I need the new Solaris 2.1 version, does anyone know if and when it will be available and when will it be available on Scholar Line....
