Oracle7 on the HP9000/8x7 series

What kind of performance are people getting from Oracle7 on the HP9000 series systems? Is anyone using Oracle7 on these platforms? How difficult to tune is Oracle7? I understand that it is geared for SMP and that it can be difficult to tune on a single processor system.
