I tried Oracle Card and got mixed impressions. I like the basic philosophy but there are a lot of quirks which prevent one from building "real world" applications. The user interface is awful and the speed is unacceptable (at least for me).

Oracle Card is based on the HyperCard clone Spinnaker PLUS with the addition of interface code to Oracle Access (contained in a DLL) and some Oracle Talk scripts. In my opinion, most of the problems are in the underlying PLUS.

I would like to see a new improved version of Oracle Card which would be a really nice prototyping tool. There is a rumor that a new version will be released beginning next year.
