   Make sure you are NOT using EMM386.EXE in your config.sys!!!! This    little beastie conflicts with Oracle's memory manager. You can still    load parts of DOS high by including the DOS=HIGH command and the    DEVICE=C:\path\HIMEM.SYS command in the COnfig.sys file.

   Also, make sure you are choosing the proper machine type using the    MACHTYPE utility.
