To all those who ask that I post any info I receive about TRIFOX and their SQL*FORMS 3.0 compiler:

   Address: TRIFOX INC.

              2600 Campus Drive
              San Mateo, CA 94403

   Sales Rep: Don Strong
               415-513-5924

FAX: 415-513-5999 Apparently TRIFOX has several tools that allow you to develop products that allow independence from any one particular RDBMS. The applications can access Oracle, Rdb, Sybase, Informix, Ingres, and Allbase.

The product I heard about from InfoWorld which caught my interest was the SQL*Forms 3.0 compiler. The compiler will compile a form created with SQL*Forms which then makes it possible for the form to access any of the databases mentioned above.

I talked to Don Strong on the phone. He was very helpful and sent me a packet full of information. If you have any questions give him a call.

Thanks to Robert Cringely of InfoWorld for his help in putting me in touch with TRIFOX.
