Mass storage and Oracle

I'm working on a project where we'll have to store 6Gb of data every
year for 3 years. We are
looking into Oracle on Suns. I would appreciate if anyone has any
experience with such mass
storage and willing to share your experience. Apart from the documents
provided by Oracle.
any tips you can suggest will be great. I'm particularly looking into
Data Integrity and Backup
and Recovery and trying to find ways to make things easier.
