How to abort the insert operation even required field is null

        I am designing a screen with 2 enterable fields as the concatinated primary keys. By pressing the clear block key, a user allows to abort the insert operation, even one of two above required fields is left blank. But in my current screen, the message "field must be entered" is showing up in the bottom only cancel key can get arround it. I am grateful to your help.
