Informix Vs Oracle

hi netters,

        I am presently working on a project which needs a database on Ultrix 5000 series workstations. We wanted to go for a Relational Database on ULTRIX workstaions. We have two options to choose from, one is informix and the other is oracle.

        For our application we need to store both the text and images associated with the text. This database is indented for mutli media and multi user support. Does anyone has any suggestions regarding this? Are there any pitfalls in opting for these database tools and Which one is best suited for this appliation?
