I am a contractor on the Space Station Freedom Project TMIS Contract. We are using Oracle on IBM MVSs and VAXs for the project-wide and site specific database applications. Oracle's big avantage is that an application developed on the PC can easily be ported to a PC or VAX running Oracle. I can go on and on but that is what the sales department of Oracle Corp. is for. Oracle does monitor this group and I would assume that they have already contacted you. I feel that it is one of the better RDBMS.

My views are my own and may not be those on my employer or client.
