Hi Guys,
My appologies in advance, I am very very new to Oracle Apps (as well as Oracle itself). I would like to also take this opportunity to thank you for reading and posting any replies to this.
We have recently upgraded to apps 11.5.10 and a 10g database. We have 1 production box and a test box. Currently I am trying to get the test boxes work flow mailer setup and working. I have put the relevant settings into Auto config (Imap server and smtp server (and the imap account details)). I have been trying to start up the container and the services for workflow mailer for about 4 days now, and I don't seem to be getting anywhere.
In the Oracle Apps manager, I go to generic services under the site map, I try and start up all the process under Generic Service Component Container, well they startup and activate, but the status is listed as stopped. The Generic Service Compoement Conatiner has written by it the following:
"the actual number of processes does not match the expected number for
instances of this service. Some maybe transitioning to new states."
I check under the concurrent manager administration and the relevant services (workflow mailer service and workflow agent listener) have processes already defined. When I look at the requests log for the workflow mailer service and workflow agent listener I also get the following:
"[Jan 30, 2006 7:13:32 PM
GMT]:1138648412746:Thread[main,5,main]:0:-1:svrtest1:172.31.100.51:-1:-1:EXCEPTION:[SVC-GSM-WFMLRSVC-181947
:
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.gsc.SvcComponentContainer.startBusinessEventListener()]:Have
waited 32 seconds for BES"
Has anyone got any ideas as to what the problem is. I have searched Metalink but theres not a lot on there for apps 11.5.10, I have also run diagnostic tests for workflow mailer and GSM, and gone through the recommendations, this also doesn't seem to have helped.
Thanks again,
