This seems to be a bug of Oracle Reports. It puts the blankets "(" and ")" of the font name "Ming(for ISO10646)" directly into the PDF, and breaks the PDF specification. I can think of three ways:
- Embed the font (and have your PDFs _not_ searchable)
- some font editors to remove the blankets from the font name and deploy the TTF to the report servers and development machines
- Fix the generated PDFs, simply by text replace on the font name entries
