I was in Redwood Shores yesterday and received assurances from a very responsible party, and one in the know, that there will be a Forms 11 and that there is no plan to kill the product as long as there is sufficient revenue to justify the developers supporting it.
So definitely go with the current version of Forms and you can feel comfortable, well as comfortable as with any software product, that it will be around quite a bit longer.
