Install the next 'thing'. Run the installer on the disk for the product you want to install. Just make sure each product has it's own Oracle Home.

Personally, I'd skip the app server entirely if you put the developer suite on the machine. The app server is pretty heavy, and for learning purposes most of it's functional pieces are built into the appropriate dev tool.

However, if you want to progress past exploration and simple development, you neeed to consider the app server - on it's own machine! Received on Mon Mar 14 2005 - 05:32:11 CET
