*please* provide more background info (Version etc, e.g. the node where You stand in the Object Navigator of Report Builder) to *enable* us to give You help !
By not doing so it discourages us to be *kind* and then You will wait for an answer for ever 8|

_at_you:

  • please describe what you mean with "header": the headline ? (then it maybe a simple boiler plate that is easily changed in the Layout Editor)
  • change the appearence of Parameters makes me *guessing* You are using a Parameter Mask (PM); there are more uses for parameters in Reports ... those parameters for the PM apper ordered by layout, in the PM Editor. Then just drag the parameter field to the position You want.
