Mask Property

Whenever i have a field with a mask defined, and try to fill it with numbers, i move the mouse, and it automatically jumps to the middle of the field, completely changing the number i keyed. If a guy is not paying attention, and accidentaly moves the mouse, the number he inserts it all wrong.......
Is there any way of preventing this, or is this a Oracle bug?
