The reason that Oracle created Jinitator is that they couldn't get Sun
(or MS) to fix bugs that were found in their JVMs fast enough. This
meant that the level of support that Oracle could provide to its
customers wasn't maximized.
Therefor they created their own implementation of a JVM that they can
fully control and fix bugs at will.
Anyway, you can still use Sun's Java plug-in to run Forms - it depends on the syntax of the page you are calling.
