Hi Harry.

  1. Since you are using TOAD, do you have the DBA module? My understanding is that it allows you to compare schemas. Additionally [I believe] there is a facility for scheduling jobs.
  2. Oracle Chamge Manager (CM) also has both thoses facilities. I'm not sure whether CM is still being bundled with the enterprise edition....it might be a product that you have to license separately these days.
