http://www.oracle.com

You can run both on XP but there is no guarantee with 8i as it has not been tested or certified. May work may not. Same goes for XP Home ... you should install on W2K or XP Pro.

And Oracle may or may not ask you to identify yourself due to export regulations. But they never spam.
