Re: Why does Form Builder "run form" button open a form name in quotes in my browser?

My solution is probably too late to aid the original request for help, but it may help others.

I had the same problem running 9i forms developer on XP client, Forms [32 Bit] Version 9.0.2.7.0 (Production).

Eventually found the solution was -

1. In Oracle forms builder tool select Edit menu option
2. Select Preferences.... sub menu
3. Select Runtime tab

If the Web Browser Location box is empty, enter the location of your web browser exe. e.g. C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe.

This got rid of my problem.

I'm guessing there is something wrong with my XP profile and Oracle forms cannot automatically detect my web browser.
