slow DBArtisan 7.x ????

Can't find anyting on Embarcadero's web site, so hoping someone's seen this here.

Recently upgraded from DBArtisan 5.x to 7.x on win2k, and now DBArtisan is slower than slow!

A simple select done from SQLPlus like "select account from table where acount = 123" returns in a split second, whereas DBArtisan 7.x returns the value quick, but keeps on churning for another few seconds or so.

Any ideas? thanks.
