[Quoted] Hey all,

[Quoted] [Quoted]    I've been playing around with Jdeveloper for over a year now and every link I have ever seen said something to the affect of, "download Oracle 9i jdeveloper for FREE". I mentioned it to a co-worker and he said it cost 995$ per seat! WTF!?

I took a look through technet and I couldn't find the reference anywhere but then he sent me an email he received from Oracle saying :

"Think that getting all this functionality in a single tool must come at a higher price? Think again. At just $995 per developer, Oracle9i JDeveloper costs far less than competitive J2EE Web services development tools and offers much more. Don't wait. Download your FREE evaluation copy of Oracle9i JDeveloper today!"

I was going to use this software to develope a project me and a few friends are working on.... We probably won't go commercial with it but its a possibility.... I guess I can't use jdeveloper now...

Is forte still free???
