Understood. :-)

I saved the form, but have only compiled code in the PL/SQL windows. Not the entire form. Never thought of it.
In looking around and trying to find *how* the form is called, and finding that it's a call_form("formname") format, I haven't gone further. I have tried fiddling with the procedure, as I explained, but not to the extent of fiddling with the form and calling a new one. I will try that. :-)

The only books I have at work are a cache of ancient Oracle books, and now that I think of it, there may be some Developer/2000 books, but they are not very "newbie" friendly. IMHO, that is, and YMMV... I will check into them more. I do tend to work better from the computer, though, than from a hardbound book. Maybe because it's easier for me to search?

Absolutely. I love fiddling with computers, but *not* over the phone (or most any other way, except right in front of it). It's been great help just to jog my memory and help me see other alternatives. :-)
