Since I have not installed the upgrade and done the migration, I based the 'release 4.4 is significantly different than 4.3.' conclusion on the fact the documentation is significantly different between the two releases.
Thanks for the suggestion, and I will use one designer tablespace, designer index table and designer temporary tablespace, just as I have done in the past with several iterations of Designer I have installed.
Any thoughts about how Oracle would know which tablespaces to use if I used their scheme? Just curious.
