My advice to you would be to ignore the GUI tools until after you really know Oracle. They hide a lot of real learning, they are Windows centric meaning that you will be unable to do even the simplest task on any UNIX machine, and they are for most tasks far slower than SQL*Plus.

And many that hire, such as myself, won't even consider hiring someone that can't do the job in SQL*Plus with vi.
