perhaps you may use StarOffice / OpenOffice at Solaris side to read the Data [Quoted] directly from your Oracle Database.
then just save as Excel File if available.
other way: connect a windows client to your host db, read the data via odbc [Quoted] directly to excel. Save in excel file format.
